Our Philosophy
Our preschool program is where wonder meets intentional learning. We prepare our students for the academic years ahead by fostering a love for inquiry and problem-solving. At Little Prep Academy, we believe that a child’s natural curiosity is the best engine for education.
Our curriculum integrates early literacy, math concepts, and science through hands-on projects that feel like play. We create a classroom culture of kindness and collaboration, ensuring every child feels empowered to ask "why?" and "how?" as they prepare for the transition to Kindergarten and beyond.
Preschool Milestones & Skills
In our Preschool classroom, children will:
- Pre-Literacy: Recognize letters, sounds, and begin early phonics and writing.
- Mathematical Thinking: Explore counting, patterns, sorting, and basic shapes.
- Scientific Inquiry: Conduct simple experiments to learn about nature and the physical world.
- Emotional Intelligence: Develop self-regulation and advanced social skills for group work.
- Independence: Take ownership of daily tasks and gain confidence in their unique abilities.
