Little Prep Academy - Toddlers

Once children are on the move, their curiosity knows no bounds. Our toddler program is designed to channel that energy into meaningful discovery. We transition from "nurturing care" to "active exploration," providing a structured yet flexible day that respects a toddler’s growing need for independence.

In our Bloomfield classrooms, toddlers engage in a play-based curriculum that focuses on the "whole child." Whether they are building with blocks, exploring sensory bins, or finding their rhythm in music class, our teachers act as guides, helping them navigate big emotions while introducing the joys of early friendship.

In our Toddler classroom, children will:

• Language Explosion: Expand their vocabulary and begin using simple sentences.
• Fine & Gross Motor Skills: Practice balance and hand-eye coordination through active play.
• Self-Help Skills: Learn the basics of washing hands, using utensils, and "clean-up" time.
• Creative Expression: Discover colors, shapes, and textures through hands-on art.
• Social Play: Move from playing beside others to playing with others, learning to share and empathize.
